Spring Spectacular and Tampa Bay MakerCon 2026

Only half of Firewolf Robotics was present for these two events, and footage was rather spotty while the photographer was away. At Spring Spectacular, RBR finished first after an undefeated day, and Helen took 2nd after two losses to the eventual winner Torito. The fights I was able to salvage from the camera are HERE .  At Tampa Bay MakerCon, RBR was eliminated relatively early by Pioneer. Of the four fights, three were recorded and were able to be processed. Tampa Bay MakerCon can be found HERE .

March Mech Madness 2026

Image
March Mech Madness took place in Ocala, FL, and for a first event run by Firewolf Robotics, it did well! Firewolf Robotics fights can be found here: Firewolf Robotics March Mech Madness 2026 We had an amazing turnout from teams such as Jupiter Robotics , Junkyard Dog , and Halogen Robotics team. We even had an appearance from Rick Russ, formerly of Tombstone on Battlebots!  Helen took first in plastic ant after shaking up the bracket by eliminating 2nd seeded Killer Parakeet in the first round of eliminations, while Parakeet Lord took first in ant pro with a fully undefeated run all the way up to a final showdown with fan favorite Fluorine.

Oops: Robot Renegades 2026

I just realized weeks later that the official Robot Renegades 2026 post was on the other blog. Here is the link here .

Orlando Maker Faire 2025

Image
Robot Ruckus at Orlando Maker Faire took place on November 8-9. These are the last fights on my original YouTube page. One of the best fights hands-down from Firewolf Robotics was against HARDWARe from Repeat Robotics. RBR had a close fight in the first round of eliminations.  Other fights can be found here

Infinicon Gainesville 2025

Image
The new Firewolf Robotics YouTube channel can be found here .  Dropkick Dojo hosted the robot combat event at Infinicon Gainesville this year, so we were in the smaller box. Firewolf Robotics did pretty well: Helen took 1st in Plastic Ant, RBR took 1st in Ant Pro, Killer Parakeet took 3rd in Plastic Ant, and Parakeet Lord took 3rd in Ant Pro.

Welcome to Firewolf Robotics

This will be the official blog page of Firewolf Robotics, based in Ocala, Florida. We compete in the antweight pro, antweight plastic, and fairyweight classes in Florida. From left to right: Parakeet Lord (under the name Haitaka at the Orlando Maker Faire 2025), RBR, Helen, and Killer Parakeet.  And here is our team mascot and camera bird, Killer Parakeet. Our plastic ant, Killer Parakeet, was named after him!
